Florida!

I am way overdue in posting about our trip but better late than never. I have actually tried a number of times but was not able to get my pictures uploaded.

In March, we cashed in all of Jeff's frequent flyer miles and were able to surprise the kid with a trip to Florida during Spring Break. They did not know where we were going or that we were going anywhere until we picked them up that afternoon after school. They could hardly believe it and were especially excited that we were going to be flying and not driving like we usually do.

These pictures are from our first weekend in Florida. We flew into Tampa on a Friday night and spent the weekend with some friends in Wesley Chapel which is north of Tampa. We ended up getting a huge surprise ourselves when my parents showed up at our friends house to spend the weekend with us. They were on their way to a Billy Graham School of Evangelism in Asheville, North Carolina and took a little detour south to Florida to spend the weekend with us before they had to be in Asheville. We were so excited to have them there and they got in on all of our sight seeing. We had really wanted to take the kids and show them where we lived when we spent a year living in Florida after we were married and to show them the places that we liked to go, our favorite beaches etc. Mom and Dad had never gotten down to Florida when we were living there so we also got to show them everything. It was their first time to Florida and the kids first time also. We had so much fun!!!! It was a very special time with them.
