FIRST TIME SKIING!!!!

We just took the kids skiing yesterday for the first time. Saturday was Jeff's birthday, so for his birthday he chose to go skiing. On Sunday afternoon after church we loaded up and went out to the hill. The kids did great! We all got out there and after only two runs on the bunny hill (not enough of a challenge), we went up the chairlift. They had their share of spills but totally enjoyed themselves. I think that they are hooked. They both loved going fast! They were real troopers. Kaelen cried once when she fell but she told me that she cried only because she wanted to keep going fast and make it all the way down the hill. :o) The other times, she was usually grinning when she rolled to a stop after a fall. She liked to just tuck and go down the hill. Olson did a wonderful job and was getting the hang of turning a bit and also stopping without falling. He and Jeff went on a few extra runs at the end when Kaelen and I went in to warm up. I think the only part that really frustrated them was not being able to go fast enough without falling. This morning Olson was already asking when we could go again. We had such a good time together as a family. We are so very blessed to have each other!!!
